List of highest-grossing Telugu films

Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, consists primarily of motion pictures produced in the Telugu language in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Known for being commercially consistent,[1] Telugu cinema, one of the largest film producers in India, had its influence over commercial cinema in India.[2] 1992 film Gharana Mogudu, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, is the first Telugu film to gross over INR 10 crore at the box office.[3]
