List of hedge funds
The following are several lists of notable hedge funds and hedge funds firms based on criteria laid out in each list.
LHC Top Ten Hedge Funds Ranking
Ray Dalio has overtaken George Soros as the world’s most profitable hedge fund manager. Dalio’s Pure Alpha hedge fund made $13.8 billion last year. While Paulson & Co. lost $9.6 billion last year, more than was lost in the collapse of Long Term Capital Management in 1998.[1]
Soros’ return has been frozen as he no longer manages investor funds. LHC Ranking exclude computer-driven funds such as Renaissance Technologies, or those with no central investment manager, such as DE Shaw. LCH Investments, part of the Edmund de Rothschild group, assesses hedge funds by how much they have made over their lifetimes for investors in dollars.[1]
