- Crestleaf - over 90 Million family records in the United States alone
- Deutscher Genealogieserver of the Verein für Computergenealogie[1] - major portal for German genealogy and genealogical societies
- FamilySearch - images and indexes developed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
- GEDCOMP[2] - GEDCOM COMParison mostly related to Denmark[3]
- GeneaBloggers - a resource list of thousands of blogs related to genealogy and family history; many blogs include actual research records and resources[4]
- GeneaNet - an international genealogy database
- GENUKI - information covering the British Isles
- Mocavo.com - genealogy search engine and databases
- MyHeritage - aggregated search system and genealogy databases
- Rodovid - global genealogy in many languages, genealogy wiki
- Rötter ("Roots")[5] - major portal for Swedish genealogy and genealogical societies in the Swedish Federation of Genealogical Societies (Sveriges Släktforskarförbund)
- Serbian Genealogical Society - online database with surnames, locations and background information
- Werelate.org - genealogy wiki and sourced collaborative, referenced place index, sponsored by the Allen County Public Library and the Foundation for On-Line Genealogy
- WikiTree - free genealogy community dedicated to building a worldwide family tree that is accessible to everyone
- WorldConnect at http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ is a free site of user contributed databases to RootsWeb, which is sponsored by Ancestry.com.
- County Clerks - County-Clerks.com is a directory of every single county clerk's office in the United States. There are over 3,000 county clerks offices that we have contact information for.
