- A magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck Fiji on February 25 at a depth of 600.0km. [5]

The depths of the events were unknown. 6 deaths were reported in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico and damage costs were estimated at $900,000 (1915 rate). This is an example of a doublet earthquake. - A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck in the Tyrrhenian Sea just off the southern coast of Italy on July 7 at a depth of 300.0km. [21]
- A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck the north Atlantic Ocean to the west of Portugal on July 11 at a depth of 50.0km. [22]
- A magnitude 7.5 earthquake struck off the east coast of Kamchatka, Russia on July 31 at a depth of 0.0km. [23]
- A magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck in the north Pacific Ocean east of the Kuril Islands, Russia on August 6 at a depth of 0.0km. [24]
- A magnitude 6.7 earthquake struck the Ionian Sea on August 7 at a depth of 14.0km. Heavy damage was caused on several islands in the Ionian Sea. Many homes were destroyed and some were damaged. [25]
- A magnitude 6.6 earthquake struck the western side of Sulawesi, Indonesia on August 12 at a depth of 60.0km. [26]
- A magnitude 6.2 earthquake struck the Nicobar Islands, India on August 12 at a depth of 35.0km. This came just over 90 minutes after the Indonesia event. [27]
