- Susan Peters – (3 July 1921 – 23 October 1952), American actress.
- Caren "Sande" Crabbe – died 11 April 1957, age 20, daughter of Buster Crabbe
- Karen Carpenter (American singer, drummer The Carpenters) – died aged 32 from complications caused by anorexia.[1]
- Christy Henrich (American gymnast) – died in July 1994, aged 22, from complications caused by anorexia.[2]
