Complete table

The leagues are segregated between those which normally would play in an outdoor stadium as opposed to those leagues that use indoor arenas. It should be noted that some outdoor league stadiums are equipped with either retractable or non-retractable roofs when and where weather conditions (such as rain or extreme heat/cold) would not allow a game to be played and/or watched effectively, comfortably and/or safely without such cover. The tables are sorted by average attendance.

  1. The actual number of regular-season games was 2,430. However, there were only 2,426 game dates because 5 regularly scheduled games were rained out and made up as "true" doubleheaders, in which one ticket admitted the holder to two games. "Day-night" doubleheaders, in which teams sell separate tickets to two games in a single day, are counted as two games. An additional one-game playoff was held at the conclusion of the regular season as a tie-breaker to determine the place-holder of the final wild card slot in the American League.
