The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) World Heritage Sites are places of importance to cultural or natural heritage as described in the UNESCO World Heritage Convention, established in 1972. Below is the list and the tentative list of sites in Bosnia and Herzegovina.(For the criteria see the Selection criteria)

Stećaks - Mediaeval Tombstones2009 - 2014II,III,VI Joint Cultural Heritage by the four countries in 2009.[6] The ministers of culture of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro gave together the joint documentation for the nomination of the Stećaks to UNESCO president Irina Bokova on the 30th june 2014 [7]
