In the conclusion of the first-season finale, Melanie and Derwin have a heated argument about their impending engagement status. Melanie is outraged at first, but forgives Derwin after he says they just kissed. Meanwhile, Jason gets a reality check when he is asked to speak on camera and conduct special interviews for ESPN. Later, Kelly helps Tasha get new clients by using an unusual sales technique. In the last scene, we see Melanie walking when she is over-hearing Dionne telling Derwin, she knows about him sleeping with Drew Sidora. Melanie takes off the ring before getting in the elevator while telling him it's over.
