Series 4 (2016)
A fourth series of twenty half-hour episodes was confirmed by broadcaster CBBC on 16 December 2014.[14][15]

The Dumping Ground Survival Files (2014)
A 5 part series entitled "The Dumping Ground Survival Files" was aired to accompany series 2. Modelled upon "The Tracy Beaker Survival Files", which aired in late 2011 and early 2012, the series featured a select few characters in each episode talking to the camera and recorded a 'Survival Guide' to a certain aspect of the Dumping Ground. Airing daily from 6 – 10 January 2014, the series included: "Promises", "Being the Boss", "Revenge", "Truth" and "Change". The series was written by Emma Reeves and directed by Pip Banyard. A second series, written by Julie Dixon and directed by Pip Banyard, aired in December 2014.
Liam's Story (2014)
A 10 part web series starring Richard Wisker entitled "Liam's Story" was made available on The Dumping Ground website after series 2, episode 3 was aired.[16] The full 10 part story was also aired on CBBC as a half-hour story 23 March 2014.[17][18] The series followed former Dumping Ground character Liam O'Donovan in a new job as a plumber, and lead into the final episode of "The Dumping Ground" series 2, where the character made a reappearance. The series was directed by Jermain Julien and written by Matt Evans, although the first episode was written by Series Head Writer Elly Brewer.[19]
Bonus Clips Series 2 (2014)
A number of bonus clips were released to accompany series 2, available only online.[20] These clips ran for around one minute, and were made available the day after the episode aired. It is unknown if these clips were specially-recorded or if they were deleted scenes from their relevant episodes.[21]
