Barton Hills SSSI, Bedfordshire

This is a list of the Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSIs) in Bedfordshire. Note that English Nature, the designating body for SSSIs in England, uses the 1974–1996 county system. There are forty SSSIs in Bedfordshire, five of which are of geological interest, and 35 listed for their botanical interest.[1] Three of the sites are also national nature reserves, and eight are managed or owned by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire.
