List of October Road episodes
October Road, a television drama series created by André Nemec, Scott Rosenberg and Josh Applebaum, premiered on March 15, 2007 on ABC network in the United States and ended on March 10, 2008. The show spans two seasons of 19 episodes. All episodes were approximately 41 minutes long excluding commercials. ABC decided to cancel the series due to declining ratings in the second season.[1][2]
Both seasons of October Road were released on DVD in United States in 2007 and 2009, respectively.[3][4] Following the show's cancellation, the writers wrote an additional 15-minute episode concluding the events of the series finale.[5] The episode was filmed and is featured on the second season DVD.[6]
October Road follows Nick Garrett, a man returning to his hometown 10 years after he had left it to go backpacking to Europe but never returned. After leaving all of his friends and family behind, Nick now has to face the changes and the ghosts from his past. The series stars Bryan Greenberg as Nick, Laura Prepon as Hannah Daniels, Warren Christie as Ray Cataldo, Geoff Stults as Eddie Latekka, Tom Berenger as Bob Garrett, Rebecca Field as Janet Meadows, Brad William Henke as Owen Rowan, Evan Jones as "Ikey," Jay Paulson as "Physical Phil," Slade Pearce as Sam Daniels, Odette Yustman as Aubrey Diaz, and Lindy Booth as "Pizza Girl."

10 years after leaving his hometown, Nick Garrett returns to Knights Ridge, to teach a one-day course at Dufresne College, which he believes is a great way to find out what changes since he was gone. After hurting the ones he loved by writing a book, a best-selling novel, and discovering their secrets, Nick will have to find a way to confront past demons and move on with his life. Nick decides to stay in Knights Ridge and tries to convince dean Leslie Etwood to give him a job at the local college, but things keep getting in his way. In a way to get back at Nick for leaving years ago, Eddie pursues Aubrey. Ikey isn't pleased to see Alison and Owen on an annual date. Hannah is mad at Nick after realizing that Nick's father came into Veterinary Care with Hannah's cat (claiming it's his) just so he could get a good look at Sam. Later on, he tells Nick that Sam has Nick's late mothers' eyes. Nick confronts Hannah about the peanut allergy, and she responds with detailed information on Sam's alleged biological father. Eddie fails at impressing Aubrey with his talking racoon story, and ends up awkwardly asking Janet on a date. Janet has to think about it. | |||||

Nick helps Sam try to get a girl he likes by using a technique from his novel - the same technique he used on Hannah when they were 16. Ikey continues the affair with Owen's wife. Physical Phil admits his crush on a pizza delivery girl, and confesses he'd like to ask her "in". While on their date, Janet thinks Eddie is too embarrassed to be seen with her in public. Hannah breaks up with "Big Cat". The episode ends with Hannah sitting at Nick's mothers grave (Caroline Garrett) talking to her about a boy needing his father. | |||||
