Billy Meredith made 394 appearances for Manchester City in two separate spells with the club between 1894–1906 and 1921–1924, scoring a total of 151 goals to make him the fifth all-time top goal scorer for the Blues.
Two young men dressed in sportswear hold a large trophy aloft. The man on the right has a blue and white scarf wrapped around his head.
Samir Nasri and Sergio Agüero have both won two Premier League titles with Manchester City.
Shaun Goater made 211 appearances for Manchester City between 1998 and 2003, scoring 103 goals.

Manchester City Football Club, then known as Ardwick, first entered the Football League in the 1892–83 season. Since that time the club's first team has competed in numerous nationally and internationally-organised competitions, and all players who have played in 100 or more such matches are listed below, which encompasses all players who have been inducted into the Manchester City Hall of Fame. Also included are all winners of the Player of the Year award, which has been awarded annually by the Manchester City Official Supporters Club, following a ballot of supporters, each season since 1967.[1]

Alan Oakes holds the record for Manchester City league appearances, having played 564 matches between 1959 and 1976. If all senior competitions are included, Oakes has 676.[2] As of 2 April 2011, the player who has won most international caps while at the club is Colin Bell with 48 for England.[3]

The goalscoring record is held by Eric Brook with 178, scored between 1928 and 1939. Brook shares the league goalscoring record with Tommy Johnson; both players have 158 league goals. Johnson also holds the record for league goals in a single season, with 38 in 1928–29.[3]

a ^ For players whose Manchester City career ended in the 2005–06 season or earlier, appearances and goals sourced to James, Complete Record and/or Baskcomb, Official Handbook 1997–98. For players who played for the club in 2006–07 until the current season, appearances and goals sourced to Soccerbase. For current players the stats are taken from the official club statistics published in the match day programs. This list excludes games played in the abandoned 1939–40 season, which were expunged from official records.
b ^ Sources differ over the scorer of an FA Cup goal against Blackpool in 1966. James and the Mcfcstats website credit it to Johnny Crossan, Baskcomb credits it to Glyn Pardoe. These figures assign the goal to Crossan.
