List of Légion d'honneur recipients by name

The following is a List of some Légion d'honneur recipients by name. The Légion d'honneur is the highest order of France. A complete, chronological list of the members of the Legion of Honour nominated from the very first ceremony in 1803 to now does not exist. The number is estimated at one million including about 2 900 Grand Cross.[1]
