Hazara people make up the third largest ethnic group in Afghanistan, where they mainly inhabit the Hazarajat region.[1] About 355,000 Iranian Hazaras live in neighboring Khorasan Province of Iran[2] and over 111,000 Pakistani Hazaras in Balochistan, Pakistan,[3] as part of the Hazara and Afghan diaspora, but are counted as Afghan nationals by the Government of Pakistan and the UNHCR, and some are living in these countries on temporary bases as refugees. In addition, smaller number of Hazaras have immigrated to Australia, Europe, and North America in the last several decades also as part of these two intertwined diasporean groupings. Below is the list of some notable Hazara people.
