A man mistreats his pet dog. The Pengpeng leaf, causes the dog to swap places with its owner, giving it a day of freedom while the man is chained up like a dog. To appease Shizuka and ensure Nobita's future as her husband, Dorami gives Nobita a special apron that makes him an expert at doing housework, culminating in a fried-rice cookoff between Nobita and Dekisugi, which has unexpected results. Doraemon and Dorami learn that they were mistaken about Shizuka marrying Dekisugi in the future, but decide to keep it a secret from Nobita, who is now enthusiastically helping his mother with the household chores. / Doraemon falls in love with a toy cat despite the objections from Nobita. After spending time with it Doraemon decides to make it into a cat robot like himself. Only when the operation is finished the cat reveals that he is a boy leaving Doraemon broken hearted. | ||||

Nobita sees his town flooded using a pair of eyeballs that allows the wearer to see into the near future. They decide to build a boat and wait for the flood to happen at midnight. When midnight comes it turns out the flood was only a dream that Nobita had./ Seeing his neighbors arguing Nobita worries about his future with Shizuka so Doraemon gives him a bagde that will let him experience marriage with whoever has the other badge. When Shizuka puts it on she believes she is really married to Nobita. Things go wrong when Suneo finds a badge and puts it on as well. | ||||

Nobita promises Shizuka that he'll show her who she will marry (aka him) when she starts wondering about it. Nobita accidentally bring some Transformation Drink to Shizua's Birthday party which she drinks changing herself into a cat while looking at a cat that wandered into her room. She is kicked out of her house by Gian and is mistaken for the cat that wandered in earlier. Doraemon arrives and reveals what happened and warns them that they have six hours t o change Shizuka back or she'll be a cat permanently. During her travels she meets a black cat named Nora who helps her find her way to the others. When Shizuka reveals that she was really a human turned into a cat Nora gets angry and runs away into a construction yard. Shizuka follows him and is almost crushed by metal beams but is pushed out of the way by Nora. The others arrive and Nobita transforms into a dinosaur to save them both. In the end Shizuka finds her missing bow on her doorstep presumably left by Nora. | ||||

When the Grandfather Tree is about to be cut down Shizuka enlists Nobita and Doraemon to help save it. She felt guilty about burning it when she was little and blamed herself for it dying. After a few failed attempts Doraemon uses Plant-Walking Water on it and it travels throughout the city as a fair well to all the people who once played on it. In a final attempt to reason with it Doraemon calls on its spirit. It says that it will not leave the place it was born and that it needed to die so new life could grow. Devastated by this Shizuka tries again to get it to leave. It shows them visions of its life and the memories it made including Shizuka's smile. The next day it is gone but a new plant started to grow. | ||||

It's Shizuka's birthday and she is stressed out with party preparations. To help her, Doraemon and Nobita make a "copy robot" of Shizuka to shop for the party while the real Shizuka goes to her piano lesson. However, it turns out that the copy-robot Shizuka suffers from wild mood swings each time something hits her on the head. Nobita and Doraemon finally get things under control, but then the copy robot turns on the real Shizuka and binds and ties her and locks her in the closet. It's up to Doraemon and Nobita to subdue the copy robot and rescue Shizuka. Shizuka's chief animator, Hiroshi Maruyama, has reportedly called this one of his favorite episodes. |
