List of Christian Brothers school alumni
Since 1802, the Congregation of Christian Brothers have been educating boys throughout the world. The order, founded by Blessed Edmund Rice, opened its first school on Waterford's New Street in 1802. The orders aim was to educate the poorest of the poor. Because of this, most of their schools and particularly in Ireland, were free with a couple of exceptions.
