List of Belgian monarchs

This is a list of Belgian monarchs since 1831, when the first Belgian king Leopold I ascended the throne, after Belgium declared independence from the United Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Belgian Revolution of 1830.
Belgian monarchs are styled "King of the Belgians" rather than "King of Belgium" to reflect the monarchy's constitutional and popular function.
There have been seven Kings of the Belgians since 1831 and two regents.
