1 "Assassination Time"
"Ansatsu no Jikan" (暗殺の時間)
January 9, 2015
In the March of a certain year, a mysterious tentacled creature of unknown origin destroys over 70% of the moon, announcing that he will destroy the world in the same manner in one year. After several failed assassination attempts to kill him due to his Mach 20 speed, the creature makes a deal with the government to make him the teacher of Kunugigaoka Junior High School's Class 3-E, who are given specially designed weapons that can hurt the creature and offered a 10 billion yen reward to whoever can assassinate him before graduation. Although the students are generally frustrated with their failed assassination attempts, they discover the creature to be a respectable teacher in his own right. A group of students involve Nagisa Shiota, a boy with not much self worth, in their plan, in which they pin a grenade filled with creature-killing pellets to him and detonate it within range. However, at that moment, the creature sheds his skin, protecting both himself and Nagisa from the blast, threatening the other students not to use any more plans that harm others whilst also admiring Nagisa's efforts. To match their teacher's seemingly unkillable nature, classmate Kaede Kayano gives the creature the fitting name of "Koro-sensei".
2 "Baseball Time"
"Yakyū no Jikan" (野球の時間)
January 16, 2015
Baseball enthusiast Tomohito Sugino attempts to assassinate Koro-sensei using his pitching skills, but becomes downhearted when Koro-sensei states he cannot become like the pro baseball star he admires. After Nagisa expresses his anger at Koro-sensei for not respecting Sugino's feelings, Koro-sensei uses his tentacle knowhow to clarify his statement, stating that his body works differently from the star he is trying to imitate and he should instead focus on his own strengths. Meanwhile, Tadaomi Karasuma, a member of the Ministry of Defense, joins Class 3-E as their P.E. teacher, observing how the class is ridiculed by the other students of the school, whilst another student due to transfer into the class is informed of his mission.
3 "Karma Time"
"Karuma no Jikan" (カルマの時間)
January 30, 2015[lower-alpha 2]
Karma Akabane, a somewhat sadistic student who transfers into Class 3-E following a suspension, manages to inflict some damage to Koro-sensei using some clever pranks. As Karma continues his assassination pranks, however, Koro-sensei starts to avoid them and do some pranks of his own. Determined to take Koro-sensei down no matter what, Karma jumps off a cliff with a gun in hand, hoping to force Koro-sensei into either getting himself killed trying to save him or destroying his pride as a teacher. As he falls, Karma reflects on his own hatred of teachers, which occurred when a teacher he had trusted turned against him when he got in a fight protecting a Class E student, caring more about the school's image than him. However, Koro-sensei manages to save Karma using his tentacles, which leads Karma to come to accept him as a teacher.
4 "Grown-Up Time"
"Otona no Jikan" (大人の時間)
February 6, 2015
Class 3-E gets a new foreign language teacher, Irina Jelavic, who is actually a professional assassin with no interest in teaching the students. Irina attempts to seduce Koro-sensei so her team of assassins can kill him, but this fails as a result of using the wrong ammo and failing to notice his keen sense of smell. Later, after the rest of the class rebel against Irina when she refuses to teach them properly, Karasuma shows her how dedicated Koro-sensei is to teaching his students and how important education is for assassinations. Realising the error of her ways, Irina begins to earnestly teach her students, who give her the less-than-appreciated nickname of "Bitch-sensei".
5 "Assembly Time"
"Shūkai no Jikan" (集会の時間)
February 13, 2015
Manami Okuda, a rather naive and honest student, attempts to poison Koro-sensei to no effect. Koro-sensei offers to help Manami, who ended up in 3-E due to her poor communication skills, make an effective poison. However, this turns out to be a tonic that transforms him into a speedier liquid form, teaching Manami to improve her communication skills so she can successfully deceive him someday. Later, as Class 3-E is forced to endure an all-class assembly, the students that normally jeer the 3-E students start to become envious of their cool teachers, while Koro-sensei makes himself a human disguise to support his students. Afterwards, Nagisa manages to use his experiences in 3-E to handle himself against some other students, prompting the principal to think of a way to put 3-E back in its place.
6 "Test Time"
"Tesuto no Jikan" (テストの時間)
February 20, 2015
Gakuhō Asano, the school's principal and the one responsible for the school's system, pays a visit to 3-E's campus to greet Koro-sensei, telling him to keep Class 3-E the way it is so that his system, which requires Class 3-E to be at its poorest to encourage the other students, can remain in place. He also mentions the irony that Koro-sensei was intended to be the world's savior, but will now be its destroyer. Noticing the rest of his class feeling they don't need to bother getting high grades if they just can win the bounty reward, Koro-sensei issues an ultimatum to all of his students to score well enough in the midterm exams to rank among the top 50 students, threatening to destroy the school and leave should any of them fail to do so. During the exams, the students use what they learned from Koro-sensei's teaching methods to tackle each question they come across. However, they are stopped in their tracks by questions that Asano had added at the last minute without informing 3-E of the changes, resulting in none of the 3-E students outside of Karma ending up in the top 50. Downhearted from underestimating Asano, Koro-sensei receives some encouragement from his class and becomes determined to turn things around for the next exams.

February 27, 2015
Class 3-E prepares for a class trip to Kyoto, which is also being used as a venue to assassinate Koro-sensei with the assistance of a government hired sniper. Arranged into groups, Nagisa is joined by Kaede, Karma, Tomohito, Manami, and class idol Yukiko Kanzaki. On the train ride to Kyoto, some delinquent high school students steal Yukiko's itinerary detailing what her group will be doing. The next day as Nagato's group take in assassination landmarks of Kyoto, Nagisa's group is ambushed by the delinquents, who knock the boys out and kidnap Yukiko and Kaede. Whilst in captivity, Yukiko laments how the pressure from her parents to be perfect drove her to sneak out and have fun, which in turn led to her ending up in Class 3-E. Meanwhile, Nagisa and the others manage to use an extensive guidebook written by Koro-sensei, which explains in detail what to do in a hostage situation, to deduce where the girls are being held before Koro-sensei arrives to deal with the delinquents. Following the incident, Yukiko feels encouraged by Koro-sensei's words that regardless of situation or status, those with the will to drive forward will come out strong.

While the other groups are accompanying Koro-sensei on a tour of Kyoto, a sniper known as Red Eye is tasked with assassinating him at various spots. However, each of his attempts to shoot him are thwarted by improbably means, and his mission is called off when Nagisa's group gets into trouble. Later that evening, Red Eye is approached by Koro-sensei himself, who treats him to a meal and gives his thanks, stating his assassination efforts made the trip a valuable learning experience for his students. Understanding Koro-sensei's value as a teacher, Red Eye decides to quit sniping in order to see the world. Back at their hotel, private time amongst the boys and girls respectively turns into an octopus-hunt when the gossip-loving Koro-sensei eavesdrops on their conversations. While hiding from the students, Koro-sensei and Karasuma talk about romance, briefly hinting about his past. As the school trip comes to a close, the world government prepares two special assassins to transfer into Class 3-E.

However, the class gets sick of her constantly firing her weapons during class, deciding to tape them shut themselves so they can study properly. Wanting the AI to get along better with her classmates, Koro-sensei makes some modifications to her hardware and programming, giving her a more human personality that her classmates, who nickname her "Ritsu", come to accept a lot more. Later that night, Ritsu's creators, who are less than happy with the changes, decide to remove all the modifications that Koro-sensei made and forbid any further changes or tampering. However, Ritsu manages to hide her new personality from them before it is deleted, deciding to secretly defy her creators for the sake of keeping her promise to help her classmates.

Irina is greeted by her former master, retired assassin Lovro, who thinks she should give up as she has no chance of killing Koro-sensei. Hoping to prove him wrong, Koro-sensei proposes a match between Irina and Lovro to see who will be the first to 'kill' Karasuma, offering Karasuma his own incentive should neither win. Despite Lovro's doubts after he fails to kill Karasuma himself, Irina manages to use what she's learned targeting Koro-sensei to get close, with Karasuma accepting defeat at her hands and Lovro acknowledging her efforts. Later, Nagisa, Karma, and Ritsu accompany Koro-sensei on a mach speed trip to Hawaii to watch the premiere of a new movie, getting a lecture along the way and learning a lot more about Koro-sensei's point of view. On their way back, a man in a while cloak observes alongside a boy, the second transfer student who claims to be Koro-sensei's brother.

March 27, 2015
Class 3-E prepare for the arrival of their second transfer student, who is allegedly more powerful than Ritsu. At that moment, a white-robed man named Shiro arrives with the new student, Itona Horibe, who claims to be Koro-sensei's younger brother. When Itona faces against Koro-sensei later that day, Koro-sensei is shocked and angered to find Itona possesses the same variety of tentacles he has in his hair. While Shiro uses his knowledge of Koro-sensei's weaknesses to give Itona the advantage, Koro-sensei takes advantage of the fact Itona's tentacles are identical to his and uses Anti-Sensei knives against them, allowing him to knock Itona out of the ring and win the match. When Itona reacts negatively to the thought of studying and tries to counterattack, Shiro knocks him out and takes him back with him. Afterwards, the class try to ask Koro-sensei about how he and Itona are connected, but he remains tight-lipped, stating they must use assassination to find the answers they seek. The students, determined to kill Koro-sensei before anyone else, decide to have Karasuma teach them more assassination techniques.

Despite knowing the odds are against them, particularly when pitted against the club captain Shindo, Sugino remains determined to win, prompting Koro-sensei to coach them for the match. On the day of the match, Class 3-E use a bunting strategy to load the bases, allowing Sugino, who had been trained to hit Koro-sensei's mach speed fastballs, to get them an early lead. Not willing to let this slide, Asano takes over as the baseball club's coach to put a stop to Class 3-E's bunting strategy, using the power of hypnotic suggestion to turn Shindo into a bloodthirsty warrior. With the bases loaded against them, Class 3-E manage to use some provocations Karma made concerning some unfair play earlier to their own advantage, placing some of their players up close to Shindo to prevent him from swinging without hurting them, allowing Class-E to win the match. Afterwards. Sugino expresses how he wanted to show off the friends he made in Class 3-E, managing to rekindle his old friendship with Shindo.

While initially proving popular with the students to do his light-hearted personality, they soon learn his true nature as a ruthless and sadistic instructor who uses fear and violence to train his pupils. When Karasuma voices his objection, Takaoka challenges him to pick one of his students to face off against him using a real knife. Placing his faith in the aura he felt before, Karasuma nominates Nagisa to fight against Takaoka. Following Karasuma's advice and going against Takaoka's expectations of being too afraid to wield a real knife, Nagisa uses the assassination skills he had learned and manages to get the upper hand on Takaoka, winning the match. When Takaoka violently objects to defeat, Karasuma beats him back while Asano fires him, with Karasuma returning to his usual teaching position.
14 "Vision Time"
"Bijon no Jikan" (ビジョンの時間)

Koro-sensei makes Class 3-E their own private pool, which alerts the students to one of his biggest weaknesses; his tentacles becoming bloated when soaked in water. Meanwhile, class bully Ryōma Terasaka is becoming increasingly irritated with everyone getting along with Koro-sensei and agrees to collaborate with Shiro and Itona in their assassination plan. After spreading a gas in the classroom and adding something to the pool the previous night, Terasaka follows Shiro's plan and uses a transmitter which he was told would signal him and Itona. However, the transmitter actually sets off an explosion which puts all the students in the pool in danger, forcing Koro-sensei to get his tentacles soaked with contaminated water in order to rescue them before they are swept away, leaving him at the mercy of Itona. With a few students still in danger, Terasaka, feeling guilt for his actions and anger for being tricked, follows a plan concocted by Karma, using his gas-covered shirt to infect Itona, allowing Koro-sensei to rescue the remaining students whilst the others use the contaminated water to put a stop to Itona's tentacles, forcing him and Shiro to withdraw yet again.

"Kimatsu no Jikan" (期末の時間)

Meanwhile, Shindo informs Class 3-E about Class 3-A's "Big Five", led by Asano's son Gakushu, who are determined to take 3-E down. When some of the 3-E students go to study in the main campus library, the Big Five propose a contest in which whichever class snags the most top spots in the exams can demand anything from the losing class. Class 3-A sets their sights on making 3-E show complete servitude to them, with Gakushu hoping to find out the class' secret, while Koro-sensei proposes his own suggestion of what 3-E can ask from their opponents. With both classes determined to win, the stage for the end-of-term finals is set.
