List of 21-Two One- characters
21-Two One- is a romance and murder mystery visual novel game developed and published by BasiL for the PC, and later released for the Dreamcast by PrincessSoft. It features a cast of characters from both the visual novel and light novel adaptation based on the game. The story primarily resolves around the main protagonist, Takuya Kirishima, trying to figure out what the motive is behind the strange murders being committed at the hospital he works at. A large majority of the characters either work at the hospital, or they are patients. Other main characters include his childhood friend Seri Sakaki, a happy go lucky girl who works at the hospital as a nurse, Momiji Kikyou, a positive thinking medical nurse, Mio and Mao Futami, a pair of twin sisters who have very contrasting personalities, and Yuina Tachibana, a serious and determined nurse who became a doctor after her brother's death.
The last two main characters are Konoha Ichinose, a mischievous little girl who is a patient at the hospital, and her friend Kasumi Mihara, who is very energetic and is difficult to make calm down. There is also a cast of supporting characters, which includes Midori Sagawa, a waitress who works part-time at the hospital and has an overly curious personality.
Main characters
- Takuya Kirishima (霧島 拓哉)
- The main protagonist of 21-Two One-. After the death of his mother, he began to work as a surgeon in a hospital in order to help those in need. His childhood friend is Seri Sakaki, who harbors romantic feelings for him.
- Seri Sakaki (榊 芹)
- Voiced by: Ayako Kawasumi
- Takuya's cheerful and happy go lucky childhood friend. In order to help him, she became a nurse in the same hospital he works as a surgeon at. Out of all people, she understands his pain the most. Despite the fact she has a high spirited personality, Seri can tend to act violently towards Takuya. Nevertheless, she has feelings for Takuya, which are clearly romantic.[1]
- Momiji Kikyou (汽京 紅葉)
- Voiced by: Kotono Mitsuishi
- Momiji is a medical doctor who also works at the hospital. She is a very positive thinker, and is rather carefree, but is still well mannered. Her baby face and childish personality make her popular with patients at the hospital. Momiji's mother was a talented doctor, and Momiji takes after her mother as she is also a skilled doctor.[1]
- Mio Futami (二見 美魚)
- Voiced by: Yura Hinata
- Mio is Mao's younger sister. She has a gentle and kind personality. Mio was once admitted to the hospital due to an unknown disease with no treatment, however, she was let go as long as she no longer had any more fits.[1]
- Mao Futami (二見 真魚)
- Voiced by: Miki Nagasawa
- Mao is Mio's protective older sister, and unlike her sister, she is cold and unsociable. However, she is really a gentle girl who really worries about her little sister. She even wants to become a doctor like Takuya to cure her sister. Mao does have some romantic feelings for Takuya.[1]
- Yuina Tachibana (橘 唯奈)
- Voiced by: Satsuki Yukino
- Yuina is another nurse that works at the hospital. She has a very serious personality, but she is also very determined. Her background is somewhat similar to the protagonist's, after her brother's death, she decided to become a doctor.[1]
- Konoha Ichinose (一ノ瀬 木葉)
- Voiced by: Omi Minami
- Konoha is a mischievous little girl who is a patient at the hospital. She will often get caught by the nurses at the hospital. Her friend Kasumi will often come visit her.[1]
- Kasumi Mihara (三原 香澄)
- Voiced by: Mayumi Iizuka
- Kasumi is Konoha's extremely energetic friend who can't calm down if she is sitting or standing still. Kasumi will often come visit her in the hospital. She is in love with her twin brother.[1]
Supporting characters
- Midori Sagawa (狭川 翠)
- Voiced by: Machiko Toyoshima
- She is a waitress who works part time at the tea shop and stand in the hospital. She wears a uniform with cat ears that stands out a lot at the hospital. Midori is a very curious girl, to the point of finding interest in almost everything.[1]
- Kasumi Mihara (三原 霞)
- Voiced by: Mayumi Iizuka
- Kasumi's twin brother. They are almost identical and have the same voices. As a contrast to his twin sister, he is quiet and intellectual. Kasumi is in an incestuous relationship with his sister.
- Yutaka Harasaki (原崎 豊)
- Voiced by: Takehito Koyasu
- A close friend of the protagonist.
- Ōji Kakitani (柿谷 大路)
- The head of the hospital.
- Hideo Tachiki (立木 秀雄)
- The surgical supervisor, the boss of the protagonist.
- Mitsuhiro Tomita (富田 光宏)
- A patient at the hospital, hospitalized due to fractures.
- Masato (まさと)
- A boy who likes to lift the skirts of girls. He appears in many Navel and BasiL games.
