Lisa L. Moore

Lisa L. Moore is a professor of English at the University of Texas at Austin (1991–present). Moore received her PhD in English from Cornell University in 1991, and currently teaches eighteen century British, Irish, and American literatures, women's and especially lesbian art and literature, LGBTQ studies, and literary form, especially poetry and the novel. She is also a published journalist and poet, a member of the Squaw Valley Poetry Workshop, and a regular contributor to the Poetry section of the Los Angeles Review of Books.

Her publications include the edited collection The Collected Poems of Anna Seward (forthcoming in July 2015 from Pickering and Chatto); Sister Arts: The Erotics of Lesbian Landscapes, a co-edited collection entitled Experiments in a Jazz Aesthetic: Art, Activism, Academia and the Austin Project; and Dangerous Intimacies: Toward a Sapphic History of the British Novel.
