Liopholidophis is a genus of harmless lamprophiid snakes endemic to the island of Madagascar.[1]

Species

Eight species are currently recognized.[1]

Nota bene: A binomial authority in parentheses indicates that the species was originally described in a genus other than Liopholidophis.

Etymology

The specific name, grandidieri, is in honor of Guillaume Grandidier,[2] son of French naturalist Alfred Grandidier.[3]
