Lindsay Arnold is an American dancer from Provo, Utah.[1]She was a contestant on So You Think You Can Danceseason nine. She is a pro dancer on Dancing with the Stars. Her only partner was Victor Ortiz in season sixteen.

Early life

Lindsay Arnold began dancing at the age of four. She trained extensively in Utah with some of the country’s best teachers, including Shirley Ballas and Mark Ballas. She has won numerous awards, including placing 1st place in both the United States Open Youth Latin Championships and the United States Open Junior Latin Championships, being a top 3 finalist at the World Junior Latin Team Match, a top 5 finalist at the World Cup Latin Junior Championships and a top 5 finalist at the United States Junior National 10 dance Championships.

So You Think You Can Dance

Arnold was a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance in season nine.[2]She was among the top eight finalists and was eliminated on August 29, 2012.[3] Her outstanding performances during the show included her Paso Doble to "Unstoppable" and her contemporary piece choreographed by Mia Michael and set to the song "Gravity."

Dancing with the Stars

Arnold became a professional dancer on the reality television series, Dancing with the Stars. She was partnered with pro boxer Victor Ortiz. They finished in 8th place being eliminated in week six after getting three 6s.[4]She returned in season seventeen as a member of the dance troupe; she has danced in the troupe for the last three seasons.
