Lindley system
An early system of plant taxonomy, the Lindley system, was published by John Lindley in An Introduction to the Natural System of Botany[1]
The schema is shown on pages xxxv and xxxvii-xlviii. Pages in the Vegetable Kingdom (1846),[2] his final work, are shown in [square brackets], the schema for that work is on pp. lv–lxviii
