The Lin Liu-hsin Puppet Theatre Museum (Chinese: 林柳新紀念偶戲博物館; pinyin: Línliǔxīn Jìniàn Ŏuxì Bówùguǎn) is a museum about puppet theatre in Datong District, Taipei, Taiwan.
Objectives
The museum's objectives are to:
- Preserve and promote traditional Asian puppet culture;
- Become a puppet educational center;
- Provide a stage for puppetry from all of the Asia-Pacific area;
- Promote interactions between local and international puppet troupes.
Exhibitions
The museum houses more than 10,000 puppet theater items from around the world, including glove puppets, shadow puppets, string puppets and water puppets.[1]
Transportation
The museum is accessible within walking distance east from Shuanglian Station of the Taipei Metro.
