Liliana Eugenia Guiscardo (born July 21, 1981 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine swimmer, who specialized in breaststroke events.[1] Guiscardo qualified for the women's 100 m breaststroke at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, by clearing a FINA B-standard entry time of 1:10.38 from the Maria Lenk Trophy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.[2][3] She challenged seven other swimmers on the third heat, including three-time Olympian Smiljana Marinović of Croatia. She touched out Brazil's Tatiane Sakemi to take the fourth spot by 0.32 of a second in 1:11.43. Guiscardo failed to advance into the semifinals, as she placed thirty-seventh out of 49 swimmers in the preliminary heats.[4]
