Lilian Adriana Tintori Parra (Caracas, 5 May 1978), is a Venezuelan human rights activist and the wife of politician Leopoldo López Mendoza, National Coordinator of the party Popular Will (Voluntad Popular), arrested by the government of Nicolás Maduro, accused of leading the 2014 protests. She has also led groups who have opposed the Government of Venezuela.[1]

Personal life

Tintori was born in Caracas, Venezuela on May 5, 1978. She earned a Bachelor's degree in preschool education with a minor in Political Communications from the Andrés Bello Catholic University.[2] Is a former television host for RCTV and Televen, a former radio personality for La Mega, Hot 94 and Ateneo 100.7 and Venezuela's 2003 Kitesurfing National Champion who created the Porkite Foundation in order to provide kitesurfing gear to unprivileged kitesurfers.[2]

In May 2007, married Leopoldo López,[2][3] having a daughter in 2009 and a son in 2013.[4]

Tintori is also an Ambassador for the Socieven Association by working for the awareness of deaf and blindness, works for the BFC Foundation for its violence against women campaign and worked with the Young Foundation for Human Rights.[2]
