- Vacant - February 20, 1973 - April 5, 1973 (Senate President Claude Molloy served as acting Lt. Governor)[2]
- Athniel C. Ottley (April 5, 1973[3] - January 6, 1975) - Democrat.[1] Switched to Republican affiliation on May 27, 1974, to run for a full term as Lt. Governor in the 1974 gubernatorial election with Governor Melvin H. Evans.[4]
