Lieder (Bruckner)

Anton Bruckner composed 20 lieder during his life, the earliest in c.1845, the last in 1882. Most of the lieder were composed during his stay in the St. Florian Abbey (1845-1855) and his tuition by Otto Kitzler (1861-1862).[1]

Issued lieder

Six lieder are edited in Bruckner's Gesamtausgabe:[2]

Bruckner made sketches for two other lieder in c.1845,[3] which are also edited in the Gesamtausgabe:[2]

Not issued yet lieder

The twelve lieder composed in 1861-1862 during Kitzler's tuition, which are found in the Kitzler-Studienbuch, are not yet issued:[13]
