Librazhd is a municipality in eastern Albania. The population at the 2011 census was 6,937.[1] Librazhd is the nearest town to the Shebenik-Jabllanice National Park.
History
During World War II two battalions of the National Liberation Movement ambushed defeated Nazi Germany troops near Librazhd killing over 200 German soldiers.[2]
Sports
Librazhd's football club is Sopoti Librazhd. KF Sopoti Librazhd was founded in 1948 and its home ground is Sopoti Stadium which seats 3,000. The team is playing the 2010-2011 season in the Albanian Second Division.
