Liberal Union (Australia)

The Liberal Union was a conservative political party resulting from a merger between the Farmers and Producers' Political Union, the Liberal and Democratic Union and the National Defence League in South Australia as a response to the election of the Labor Party in that state in 1910.[1] It lasted from 1910 to 1923 when it became the Liberal Federation after merging with the National Party.
