Letitia Gwynne
Letitia Fitzpatrick [1]) (b. 23 January 1962, Belfast)[2] is a Northern Irish journalist and public speaker.
Broadcasting career
Letitia was a reporter for the Irish News, BBC Radio Ulster, Inside Ulster and BBC Newsline for BBC Northern Ireland, before joining UTV in February 1997.[3] She worked for Citybeat, and is now a freelance journalist for the BBC.
Personal life
In 2005, Letitia appeared as the character of Yelena in a touring adaption of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya.[4] She appeared on stage alongside her second husband.[5]
In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph in 2007, she said she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.[6] She has two children from her first marriage and two stepchildren from her second marriage.[7] She was widowed in January 2007.
Letitia left UTV on 1 January 2009 and reverted to her maiden name. She now works as a freelance journalist for the BBC, as a motivational speaker and lecturer.
