Plot

The episode begins with the Forman family and friends preparing to meet Steven Hyde's biological father, William Barnett. When William appears, everyone is surprised at his ethnicity, as he is an African-American, though Hyde states that it explains his afro, coolness, and suspicion of the man. Hyde also discovers that William owns Grooves, a chain of record stores throughout Wisconsin. Things get rocky when William offers money to Hyde, which upsets him, Red, Kitty, and Jackie. Later that evening, William comes back to apologize to Hyde and acknowledges Red and Kitty for raising him well.

In another storyline in the episode, Eric attends a feminist rally with Donna. Things go smoothly as the two go to make out near the bushes, when Eric accidentally pulls Donna's hair. Donna's cries for pain are mistaken as cries for help, and the group of protesting feminists strip Eric of all his clothing and write humiliating messages on his body.

In the last storyline in the episode, Kelso is waiting by the phone, first at Eric's house and later at his own, as Brooke is expected to go into labor soon and have their baby. Despite Fez's attempts to make jokes at Kelso's expense, Kelso finally gets the call from Brooke saying she's going into labor and he rushes to the hospital.
