Lesnovo's three-domed church

Lesnovo (Bulgarian: Лесново) is a village in central western Bulgaria, part of Elin Pelin Municipality, Sofia Province. As of 2006 it has 1,829 inhabitants. The village came into existence in 16-17th centuries. Lesnovo has a three-domed Eastern Orthodox church of St Archangel Michael, a rare design for Bulgaria, dating to the early 20th century; it also features pointed arches. Lesnovo Airport, a small new private airport, is located near the village.

Lesnovo lies in the eastern Sofia Valley, between the Balkan Mountains to the north and Sredna Gora to the southeast. The Lesnovo River, a tributary of the Iskar, flows nearby. The village's name is derived from the word les (лес, "forest") with the Slavic suffix -ovo, as reflected in the older Ottoman name Ormanlı and its Bulgarianized version Ormanliya.

Lesnovo has a community centre (chitalishte) called Immortality and a school founded in 1879.
