Leslie Elias "Les" Davies (born on 29 October 1984) is a Welsh footballer who currently plays as a striker for Welsh Premier League side Bangor City.
Playing style
Davies is well known for his brut strength and has got the nickname "The Truck" because of this, his ability to push through tackles means he can get on goal to score.
Career
Davies is currently in his second spell with Bangor City and was nominated for the UEFA Player of the Year award in July 2012, after receiving the required single nomination from an unknown journalist.[1][2][3][4]
Davies, dubbed "Bangor's Number 9", is a popular figure with the fans, and has won the BCFCSA Player of the Season for the last two years whilst also getting voted into the team of the season by the league's managers in 2011–12.
International career
Davies has represented Wales at U18, U21 level and also as a semi-professional for their U23 team.
