Les Chefs de France

Les Chefs de France is one of two restaurants in the France Pavilion of Epcot Center of Disney World in Orlando, Florida. The dining venue was opened by Roger Vergé, Gaston Lenôtre (1920-2009) and Paul Bocuse (a famed progenitor of Nouvelle Cuisine)[1] at Epcot's inception in 1982 and has been run since 1996 by the third of the trio's son Jérôme Bocuse.[2]

In 2009 an animatronic Disney characterization of the mouse Remy from the Disney animated feature Rattouille appeared at the restaurant several times daily. The robotic rodent (which is the smallest the imagineers at Disney have to this date ever produced) was brought around by a handlel to appear at diners tables, which was especially apt given that one of the establishment's three founders Gaston Lenôtre is widely believed to have been part of the inspiration for Auguste Gusteau in the film.[3][4]
