Lerp (biology)
In biology, a lerp is a structure of crystallized honeydew produced by larvae of psyllid insects as a protective cover. These insects are commonly referred to as lerp insects.

Some of the host plants on which lerp is often found include:
- Eucalyptus dumosa
- Eucalyptus terminalis
- Eucalyptus fasciculosa (psyllid insect being Cardiaspina densitexta)[1]
