A note concerning Leroy Binkley. My brother studied at the architecture school at the Art Institute downtown Chicago where Mies Van der Rohr was the head of the architecture department. Roy and he were friends both studying there, 1942, 1943. I think this was a campus of the IIT (Ill. Inst. of Technology). My brother is no longer alive. I have no written reference, but remember Binkley well. I have a certain memory of someone in their year at the architectural school who was color blind, I think Blinkley was the one.
