Leptospermum squarrosum, commonly known as the Pink Tea Tree or the Peach Blossom Teatree is an upright shrub of the Myrtaceae family native to eastern New South Wales.[1] It is tolerant of well-drained and damp conditions, salt-resistant and very hardy.[1]
Description
It is a dense and erect shrub growing to 2.5 to 3 m (8.2 to 9.8 ft).[2] The leaves are stiff, triangular and pointed.[1] The flowers are approximately 16 mm (0.63 in) in diameter and have five pink petals.[1] Flowering occurs from autumn to late winter. [1]
