Leif Høegh

Leif Høegh (21 April 1896 - May 1974) was a Norwegian shipowner. He founded Leif Höegh & Co in 1927. Høegh ordered his first ship in 1927 and developed an enterprise with a leading position in the global maritime transportation sector. Today the shipping activities are among the world's leading companies in their respective segments with about 2000 employees and a global organization. He was an attendee of the 1954 Bilderberg Group Meeting (Hotel de Bilderberg, Oosterbeek, the Netherlands, Presided by The Prince of the Netherlands). He was a member of the Steering Committee of the Bilderberg Group.^[1]
