Lei Tingjie

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Lei.

Lei Tingjie (born March 3, 1997) is a Chinese girl chess prodigy.

In the 2014 Women's Chinese Chess Championship she came third. [1]

As of April 2015, her Elo rating is 2444. This makes her world no. 2 girl player, world no. 41 woman player, and world no. 86 junior player.

She became a woman grandmaster in 2014.

She played in the Women's World Chess Championship 2015 (knock-out), but was knocked out in the second round by Humpy Koneru.
