Left-wing conspiracy

See also Right-wing conspiracy.

Left-wing conspiracy refers to an alleged network of political liberals who seek to discredit conservative politics.

By definition, the left-wing conspiracy theory centers on what right-wing conservatives feel is an underground effort by socialist and communist operatives to, over a long period of time, bring about a Marxist society one small piece at a time.

One organization deemed to be part of the left-wing conspiracy is the Democracy Alliance, which, according to its website, plays "a leadership role in building the movement infrastructure needed to execute and advance a progressive agenda."[1] Some bloggers and organizations refer to the Democracy Alliance as a "secretive left-wing organization which connects big-money progressive donors to a long list of progressive organizations."[2] According to one blog, "The Alliance consists of approximately 100 rich liberals who have taken upon themselves the task of coordinating America’s many left-wing organizations to promote a single radical agenda."[3]
