Lee Hyeri (born June 9, 1994; Hangul: 이혜리), better known as simply Hyeri, is a South Korean idol singer and actress. She is known as the youngest member of girl group Girl's Day under Dream Tea Entertainment. She has also acted in television dramas including Tasty Life (2012), Seonam Girls High School Investigators (2014) and Hyde, Jekyll, Me (2015).

Biography

Lee Hyeri was born on June 9, 1994, in Gwangju, South Korea. She attended GongYeon Girls High School and Seoul School of Performing Arts. She is currently majoring in the filming department at Konkuk University.

Career

In September 2010, Hyeri became a member of Girl's Day alongside Yura when Jiin and Jisun left the group in September 2010, just two months after the group debuted.[1]

In 2012, Hyeri was cast in the SBS weekend drama Tasty Life. In the show, Hyeri played the youngest in a family of four daughters.[2]

After her 4-days long appearance on Real Men in August 2014, a brief clip of her showing aegyo at her instructor went viral in South Korea, with its clip getting one million views in just three days.[3]

Hyeri starred as one of the main characters in Seonam Girls High School Investigators, which began airing on cable channel jTBC in December 2014. She played a looks-obsessed member of a detective club.[4] She also had a role in the drama Hyde, Jekyll, Me, which began airing on SBS in January 2015.[5]

Personal life

In March 2013, Hyeri entered a relationship with H.O.T member, Tony An as confirmed by both parties' agencies. The relationship attracted attention owing to the 16-year age gap between the two. After 8 months, the couple split due to busy work schedules..[6][7]
