Leave It Up to Me (Aaron Carter song)
"Leave It Up to Me" is the lead single from the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius soundtrack recorded by teen star Aaron Carter. Carter performed two other songs along with this on the soundtrack, "A.C.'s Alien Nation" and "Go Jimmy Jimmy".
Music video
There are two different versions of the music video. The first version features Carter walking out of a boring tour of a museum into a restricted area. His clothes turn into a spacesuit as he proceeds to start rap-singing the song. He finds a chair and a stellar map that shows him singing. He finds some buttons as well; one of the buttons Carter pushes makes him do a backflip, making him CGI animated and singing with a group of people in black. Carter then is warned that the room will shut down and self-destruct. Saving the day, he pushes a red button that stops the countdown and makes it zoom out. The second version was featured on the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius DVD and VHS, and on Nickelodeon. This version featured Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius clips on the stellar map instead of Carter. At the end, instead of the countdown at the very end, an actual explosion is shown.
