The Leasing Foundation [1] (The Leasing Industry Philanthropic and Research Foundation Limited), established in 2012,[2] is a non-profit organisation based in the City of London.

Mission

The mission of the foundation is to support the leasing and asset finance industry in Europe, Asia and Africa by providing focus and organisation for charitable activities, by performing rigorous, challenging and relevant research in areas that impact the industry, and by seeking opportunities to sustain the industry by developing people in the industry.

Governors and Fellows

The 30 Governors of the Leasing Foundation represent organisations including RBS, Seimens, CHP Consulting, IAA-Advisory, Grant Thornton, Santander, IBM, ING, Lombard, HSBC, John Deere, Pitney Bowes, Aldermore, De Large Landen and Close Brothers. The patron of the Leasing Foundation is Chris Sullivan, Chief Executive UK Corporate, Royal Bank of Scotland. The Foundation also has almost 100 Fellows (as of August 2014) representing organisations from across Europe.[3]
