Le Gourmet Chef is a high-end American consumer retail company that sells an assortment of gourmet foods, kitchenware and home entertaining products. It is a subsidiary of Kitchen Collection, owned by NACCO Industries.[1] Le Gourmet Chef is headquartered in Chillicothe, Ohio. The company caters to anyone from a novice cook to a gifted entertainer or seasoned chef. Its goal is to provide a fun and entertaining shopping experience.
History
Le Gourmet Chef, Inc. was founded in 1988.[1] On August 8, 2006 it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The company was acquired by Kitchen Collection on August 28, 2006. [2]
At the store
At the store, Le Gourmet Chef displays themed tables featuring food, drinks, tools, decorations and accessories for parties, as well as items themed for the different seasons.
The stores offer a selection of kitchen items, from salsas to salad spinners, from pretzel dips to panini makers. The store carries all different brands, including its own Kerry & Loni's brand.[3]
One of its biggest competitors is Williams-Sonoma. The company's goal is to provide a fun and entertaining shopping experience.
