León Krauze

León Rodrigo Krauze Turrent (México City, January 4, 1975) is the son of the historian Enrique Krauze, and the researcher Isabel Turrent.[1] His brother is the novelist Daniel Krauze. He is a journalist, TV host and writer, voice of the second issue of W Radio, Mexico and a member of the board for the cultural magazine Letras Libres.

Columnist for Milenio and El Diario, the first Mexican publication newspaper and the second in America. He writes frequently in the magazine Letras Libres es:Letras Libres and has done too for Newsweek, Washington Post, El País, The New Republic and several other publications.

Host for Hora 21, the main news in FOROtv channel. In 2006 he was the official historian of the Mexican National Soccer Team. Since 1996 he has covered the U.S. presidential elections for various Spanish-language media. His work, El vuelo de Eluán was selected to participate in the "Cartas al autor", organized by the International Book Fair of Guadalajara. Krauze received over 1500 letters, surpassing any previous record. He participated in the April edition of the magazine Life & Style for Grupo Expansión.

In 2011, Krauze appeared in the film production Guerrero 12, a feature-length documentary examining soccer fandom passion. The film was directed by Miguel A. Reina, who was also responsible for the Sundance film Un aliado en el tiempo.
