Lawrence B. Glickman (born January 10, 1963) is an American history professor and author of two books and several articles on consumerism. He currently teaches at Cornell University.[1] Previously, he was a professor of history at the University of South Carolina, where he also served as a chair for two years.

Education and career

Glickman did his undergraduate work at Princeton University, from which he received an A.B. degree in history magna cum laude in 1985. He did his graduate work at the University of California, Berkeley and received his M.A. in 1989 and his Ph.D. in 1992. That same year he became an assistant professor of history at the University of South Carolina. He began teaching at Cornell in 2014.
