Lauren Razavi

Lauren Razavi is a freelance journalist and non-fiction writer based in Norwich, England.[1]

Journalism

She regularly contributes to The Guardian[2] and New Statesman,[3] and is a guest speaker for BBC national and regional radio.[4] Her work has also been published in VICE,[5] The Independent,[6] The Times[7] and The Telegraph.[8]

Non-Fiction

Her work has been published in anthologies[9] and on websites[10] related to the University of East Anglia. She was shortlisted for the IdeasTap Inspires and Writers' Centre Norwich national writing competition in 2014.[11]

Teaching

Lauren regularly lectures at universities, including the University of Cambridge, the University of East Anglia and the University of Gloucestershire.[12]

Personal life

She studied international relations and politics at the University of East Anglia and won second prize in the university's Eureka Business Plan competition during her first year of study in 2011.[13] She graduated on 17 July 2013.[14]

Lauren studied for an MA in creative non-fiction as part of the prestigious UEA Creative Writing Course, graduating in 2014.[15]
