Laura Trant
Laura Trant is a news reader for the BBC's regional news programme South Today.

Laura's profile increased in early 2014 with several live broadcasts on BBC Breakfast. On 3 April 2014 Trant reported on the severity of potholes in the United Kingdom.[1] On 7 April 2014 she also reported on the 40th anniversary of the introduction of the UK postcode, describing the history of the postcode as well as the modern day controversies surrounding the introduction of postcode boundaries.[2]
