Laura Csortan (born 9 November 1976) is an Australian model, actress and television presenter. She lives between West Hollywood, California and Sydney, New South Wales.
Miss Universe and Miss World
She was crowned Miss Australia 1997 and represented her country in Miss Universe 1997 (Miss Congeniality), and Miss World 1997 (top 10 semi-finalist).[1] Laura was the first and only woman to ever be crowned both Miss Universe Australia and Miss World Australia.
Television career
From October 2000 until November 2008, she was a host of The Great Outdoors on the Seven Network.[1][2] She formerly also co-hosted the Australian version of Wheel Of Fortune, with Larry Emdur. Laura has worked as a presenter on Channel 9′s Holidays for Sale and host of Qantas Destination Guides. Laura lived in America for a year hosting Worlds Best Beaches on the Discovery Channel.
She also hosted Channel 7’s BBC Massive Nature, Racing Today, blooper show Good As Gold and was a panelist on Grand Prix TV. In 2009 Laura was the news reader for Fox Sports News from the National News desk. Laura hosted a Behind the Scenes show for Australia’s Got Talent in 2012.[3]
Since 2012, Laura has been a regular on Channel 7’s The Morning Show where she hosts Travel Segments and weekly Travel Tips. She also regularly appears as a panelist on The Style Squad, The Dilemma and The Jury.

Laura has appeared in advertising for Qantas Destination Guides,[4] Pantene, Cadillac, Harris Scarfe, Reckitt Benckiser, APT, Trafalgar, Pevonia, Bendon and Dairyvale.
Keynote Speaking Career
Women of the World for Woman’s Day magazine. Commonwealth bank as a travel expert.
Master of Ceremonies Career

Laura has appeared as the face of Ralph Lauren Pink Pony campaign (2 years),[8] RSPCA Set a Sister Free campaign,[9] SunSCHine (Sydney Children's Hospital) Variety Club, Pink Hope (Bright Pink Lipstick Day),[10] Cancer Council's Girls Night In.
